The Detroit Pistons got a huge boost to their lineup with the NBA Playoffs just around the corner.
Superstar point guard Cade Cunningham returned to the lineup on Wednesday against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Cunningham had missed Detroit's last 11 games due to a collapsed lung.
The 24-year-old guard was averaging 24.5 points and 9.9 assists this season entering Wednesday. Only eight players in NBA history have finished a season averaging that many points and assists, and Cunningham would be the first to do so in a Pistons uniform.
Despite Cunningham's absence, Detroit was able to maintain its hold on the No. 1 spot in the Eastern Conference.
With just three games remaining on their schedule, the Pistons (57-22) are three games up on the Boston Celtics (54-25), having already clinched the No. 1 seed in the East.
